HBDHB: An apology at last
May 19, 2009
The DomPost reports that the Whistle Blower has received an apology from the CEO of the HBDHB. I am grateful to Mr Clarke for bringing some completion to this unfortunate saga.
A quote from the DOMPost article: Mr Clarke, who resigned this month, wrote his letter after Ms Houston laid a complaint with the privacy commissioner. “On behalf of Hawke’s Bay District Health Board I apologise to you for the interference of your privacy … HBDHB accepts that this action breached principle 4 of the Privacy Act,” Mr Clarke wrote.
Justice does indeed take time.
