Benefit Concert in Napier for Christchurch

This Sunday, the 27th of February, our local opera identity William Winitana will be performing a benefit concert for Christchurch at the Napier Botanical Gardens.
“Mr Winitana has given a lot to the music fraternity in Hawke’s Bay and I am thrilled that he has decided to provide an event where people in Hawke’s Bay can give to Christchurch,’ said Chris Tremain, National MP for Napier.
‘The people of Hawke’s Bay are looking for ways to help Christchurch,’ said Craig Foss, MP for Tukituki. ‘ We feel a long way away and this is a great way to help.’
“I will be there with a collection bucket doing my bit,’ added Mr Tremain, ‘and I am very much looking forward to hearing William perform. Bring a picnic, wear Red & Black and show your support and solidarity for Canterbury; I know everyone’s thoughts are with them’
