Launch of Te Ara Hawke’s Bay

Napier MP Chris Tremain will tomorrow be launching the Hawke’s Bay entries into Te Ara; New Zealand’s on-line encyclopedia.
“It is an honour to be given this role,” said Mr Tremain. “Te Ara is a valuable resource for all New Zealanders and the addition of Hawke’s Bay to it’s Places section is an important development for those of us who live in The Bay”.
“What makes Te Ara different is that ordinary New Zealanders can contribute their own stories,” said Tukituki MP Craig Foss. “This makes Te Ara unique and I look forward to reading the future contributions from Hawke’s Bay’s own story tellers”
Te Ara is a complete web-based encyclopedia of New Zealand and is being prepared by the Ministry of Culture and Heritage.
