MP urges Post Office re-think

‘I was informed, late last week, of the imminent closure of the Mahora Post Shop,” said Tukituki MP Craig Foss “ I am deeply concerned about the impact that the closure is going to have on the community”
“As such I have written a letter to the Acting Chief Executive of New Zealand Post, Mr Knowles, asking him to reconsider the decision. I have also asked to be kept informed on the matter,” added Mr Foss.
“The Mahora community needs access to over the counter postal and banking services and the closure of this Post Shop will see the end of that; it will seriously undermine the community”
