Celebrating ‘Children’s Day’
March 5, 2010
The Project K Tour de Vines at Kemblefields winery this weekend is just one of the many events on to celebrate National Children’s Day.
“Hawke’s Bay has a huge number of events on and you can find out what these are at www.childrensday.org.nz <http://www.childrensday.org.nz> <http://www.childrensday.org.nz/> ,’ said Napier MP Chris Tremain. ‘I will certainly be spending time with my children this weekend at Cricket, T-ball, and at the 65 Roses Building Project at Mitre 10.’
‘It’s the 10th Anniversary for the event,’ says Tukituki MP Craig Foss. ‘It’s really gathering momentum in Hawke’s Bay and through out New Zealand.’
‘Children’s Day is to celebrate how special and important our children are to us,’ adds Mr. Tremain. ‘This year’s theme is ‘Praise and Encouragement’.”
‘There are often negative statistics surrounding children,’ says Mr. Foss, ‘so it’s great to be able to celebrate the positive. I am really looking forward to spending the day with my kids
